Meadowlark
Pit Bull Terrier
Young Adult – Female
This litter was born to a pittie momma in North Tulsa. She was abandoned by her owners when they moved with 10 newborn babies! The kind neighbor did her best to provide food and a pen for the pups but they desperately needed to be placed in the safety of a foster home. Thankfully momma is extremely sweet and social and she was able to be placed in another rescue once puppies were weaned. Puppies have been handled since birth and are very social, chunky babies! Aug. 2025 Update- Meadowlark has sadly been waiting with our rescue since birth. She's around 6 months old now and desperately wants a family of her own! Meadow is absolutely perfect in her crate and never makes a mess. She enjoys romping around outside with foster siblings and snoozing on the couch. She is still a puppy and will chew on things if you're not watching. Meadow is mostly housebroken, dog friendly (although she will stand up for herself if challenged), and LOVES kids. We're working on her car riding; she is excellent in the car but struggles with entering and exiting the vehicle, it's a little scary.
Winston
Hound
Adult – Male
Special Needs: Epileptic I AM ON DAILY MEDS Winston, and his brother, Wally, were originally in a box by the road marked “free” ; the owners of the momma dog agreed to hand them over to the rescue. Wally has been adopted, but Winston has been in our program for months with no interest. Winston began having seizures a couple months after he was in his foster home. Our vet partners have run an array of tests, but they can not determine the cause of the seizures. Winston maintains very well on his daily medication, and he has minimal break through seizures. His meds are fairly inexpensive. Winston is still a good boy who enjoys playing with other dogs, travels well, and is house trained! He deserves his forever family! Please consider giving this sweet boy a chance!
Eli
Shepherd/Australian Kelpie
Young Adult – Male
This handsome gentleman is Eli. Him and his three siblings had been living as strays their whole lives at a local college campus. Thankfully with the help of multiple dedicated people, we were able to trap all 4 pups and their mom. Eli is shy when meeting new people but warms up fairly quickly (especially with treats). Eli is crate trained, house trained, very obedient and SUCH a good boy!
Ella
Labrador Retriever/Shepherd
Young Adult – Female
Meet Ella! Ella and her three siblings had been living as strays at a local college campus for their whole life. But with the help of multiple dedicated people, we were able to trap all 4 pups and their mom! Ella is a shy puppy and will need an adopter who will give her time to come out of her shell. Ella absolutely adores other dogs and does great with kids. Ella is house trained and crate trained. She is absolutely as sweet as they come!
Belle
Pit Bull Terrier/Spaniel
Young Adult – Female
Belle was originally part of our Outlaw Litter. This litter came to us from the Tulsa Animal Shelter, sickly and malnourished. Thankfully all the puppies survived and have lived a quality life in their foster home, but Belle can’t stay forever! She enjoys socializing at all the adoption events and lives in a multi dog household. She loves people and can’t wait to meet her forever family!
Stone-CL

LB is a true companion dog once he knows you. He may take a minute to warm up, but once he does, he's all in-loving, loyal, and eager to please. He's great with other dogs, cats, and even livestock, making him a perfect fit for a home with animals or room to roam. He loves hopping into the Gator, playing in water, and chasing off coyotes like a little guardian. Whether you're out working the land or just enjoying the outdoors, LB is happiest by your side.
Otis
Hound/Coonhound
Young Adult – Male
Otis was dumped on a country road and was surviving on someone’s chickens. Thankfully, the owner of the chickens knew that did not make Otis a bad dog, just another dog failed by humans in Oklahoma. Otis is well socialized and has done fantastic with other dogs, kids and large livestock. He also rides great is a car! Otis needs a secure fence and a heavy duty crate.
Taters
Shepherd/Australian Shepherd
Young Adult – Male
Hi, My name is Taters but sometimes my foster mom likes to call me Taties (she thinks it’s cute like me). I was found right before Christmas cold and hungry with no tags or microchip. Since then I've been crashing on my foster mom's couch while I got healthy but I’m really looking for my furever family! I am about the sweetest cuddler there ever was for starters and for seconds I like to be as close to you as I can get. I’m sweet, playful and a little rambunctious. Now to be honest, I really REALLY like to jump…like HIGHHHH!! Not to brag or anything, but I can clear a 4ft fence standing still. And I do like to chase things that move…but who doesn’t?!? ,I am potty trained but can get distracted outside so I do need some patience. I stay in a crate for periods of time with no problem, I’m just resting up to play with you when you get me out! I know my furever family is out there, could that be you?
Niobi
Labrador Retriever
Adult – Female
Niobi came to us from a severe neglect case. She has been decompressing and healing in her wonderful foster home and has blossomed into a sweetie! Niobi seemingly gets along with other dogs great as long as she's given a little adjustment period. She doesn't like being crated but has been wonderful left loose in the house. She has great house manners and loves people!
Trinity
Shepherd
Young Adult – Female
Trinity almost lost her life as a young pup, you see her time was up at a local very rural city shelter. Trinity and her brother Neo, along with a momma dog Niobi were pulled in the nick of time! Trinity is very sweet and outgoing. She's well-mannered and playful with other dogs. Trinity would do best in a home without kitties (they're too enticing to not chase when they run!) and she prefers non dominant females.
Honey Bee
Shepherd/Carolina Dog
Young Adult – Female
Found with my 3 other siblings in need of help in Langley and after our foster helped us get healthy we are in search of our furever home! She is super sweet, very attentive, and loves to cuddle in laps. She enjoys being the center of attention and would make a great companion for anyone who wants a buddy by their side.
Red
Shepherd/Carolina Dog
Young Adult – Male
Found with my 3 other siblings in need of help in Langley and after our foster helped us get healthy we are in search of our furever home! He is a relaxed and chill kind of dude with eyes that can melt a heart. He enjoys playing, but remains calm and gentle when he does. He is very intelligent and quickly picks up on training commands.
Abbie
Pit Bull Terrier
Young Adult – Female
Abbie came to us from a busy highway in Tulsa. She was nearly struck several times by a vehicle but luckily made it out alive and rode to her foster home by the good Samaritan that saved her. Abbie is un-sure of other dogs but ADORES people! Abbie is housebroken, crate trained and is a medium energy level.
Chop
Doberman Pinscher/Rottweiler
Adult – Male
Chop has just arrived at Okie Pet Rescue after spending several tough months at a local municipal shelter. At 3 years old, this handsome Doberman/Rottweiler mix is finally getting the chance to stretch his legs, feel the grass under his paws, and experience the comfort of a loving foster home. We’re still getting to know Chop as he decompresses and starts to settle in, but one thing is already clear: this boy is soaking up his new freedom and discovering the joy of just being a dog again. He’s curious, observant, and slowly warming up to the good life he’s been waiting for. Chop is smart, and has the potential to be a deeply loyal companion. As he continues to adjust, we’ll be learning more about his personality, preferences, and the kind of forever home where he’ll truly thrive. For now, we’re just happy to see Chop getting his second chance — and we can’t wait to help him find the family he deserves. Interested in adopting Chop or want to follow his journey? Stay tuned for updates, or reach out to Okie Pet Rescue to learn more!
George
Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie
Senior – Male
George was a stray who found himself in an overcrowded and scary shelter. He was matted, covered in fleas and had a raging upper respiratory infection! Thanks to a committed foster, George is now living the life he has always deserved! He is about 13 years old and weighs under 12 pounds! What George lacks in hearing, vision and teeth he surely makes up in personality. He is a fun loving little guy with so much love left to give! George would love to spend his golden years snuggled up with the person that he has waited 13 years to finally meet! Let’s show him that it was well worth the wait! Adopt George!
Keaton
Terrier/Black Mouth Cur
Baby – Male
Keaton came in with his litter from a property where mama was living off table scraps as she was left behind by a previous tenant. Though they had a rough start her babies are all well behaved, sweet puppies. Keaton is a gentle giant and plays very well with dogs of all shapes and sizes. He is a cuddle bug and just needs his own couch to snuggle you on. Keaton sleeps all night in a pen without accidents and is doing great with potty-training, just needs a lot of opportunity to succeed 😉
Robert
Terrier/Black Mouth Cur
Baby – Male
Robert came in with his litter from a property where mama was living off table scraps, she was left behind by a previous tenant. Mama did a great job though and all of her babies are sweet and well behaved. Robert has yet to destroy anything other than dog toys, is doing great with potty training, sleeps in a pen without accidents all night quietly and although he is a playful puppy, listens to commands and just wants to be around the peoples. He is used to dogs of all shapes and sizes and does not seem too interested in chickens.

Chuck Norris
Husky/Cattle Dog
Adult – Male
Don’t let the name fool you—this guy’s more lover than fighter… unless you’re talking about his battle with adversity, which he roundhouse-kicked right out of the park. Chuck recently had a leg amputation, but with his staples out and his recovery complete, he’s officially retired from being an Expendable and is ready for his forever home! Chuck is a wonderful 3–5-year-old husky/heeler/kelpie mix who’s as smart as he is handsome. He’s house-trained and crate-trained, and at night he’ll even tuck himself into his crate when it’s bedtime (because real tough guys know the value of beauty sleep). He’s great with other small dogs and okay with indoor cats—though if a cat makes the mistake of running, his herding instincts might kick in for a quick game of chase. Chuck can be a little bossy and does bark at other dogs to invite them to play, which might just be his husky/heeler personality shining through. Despite having only three legs, nothing slows Chuck down. He loves to play fetch, run with his dog friends, and then wind down with some snuggle time.
Mills
German Shepherd Dog/Pointer
Young Adult – Male
Mills is a young, 30 pound, male German Shepherd mix with the most charming underbite that makes him look very serious—but don’t be fooled, he’s truly a gentle soul. He’s just beginning to discover what human kindness feels like, and he’s blossoming more every day. Mills is extremely well house- and crate-trained. He’ll politely signal when he needs to go outside, and he’s also comfortable using a dog door. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and is unbothered by cats, making him a great fit for many types of homes. He’s learning how to walk nicely on a leash. With his sweet nature, smart shepherd brain, and eager-to-please attitude, Mills is ready to be someone’s loyal companion. Could that someone be you?
Calvin
Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier
Young Adult – Male
Calvin is a 1–2 year old Cattle Dog mix with a heart as big as his goofy smile. When he was first rescued off the streets of rural NE Oklahoma, he was skinny, scarred, and carrying the weight of a rough start in life. But thanks to the love and care of his foster, Calvin has blossomed into a handsome, happy pup who’s now ready to find his forever family. This lovable boy is spunky, friendly, and full of personality. He gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats, making him a great fit for a multi-pet household. Calvin is also working hard on his house manners—he’s a quick learner who just wants to please. Despite his rocky beginning, Calvin’s resilience shines through. He’s a goofy, affectionate companion who’s ready to trade his past life of survival for one filled with love, playtime, and plenty of pampering. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving friend who’s already proven he can overcome anything life throws at him, Calvin might just be your perfect match. 💙
General
Pointer/German Shepherd Dog
Young Adult – Male
General is a young, 40 pound Australian Shepherd mix with a kind, sensitive heart and a gentle spirit. He’s the kind of pup who wants to please his people. General adores the company of other dogs and plays beautifully with them. He’s also cat-curious, but respectful—once reminded to “be nice,” he settles right in with feline friends. This sweet boy is very well house and crate trained; he’ll signal when he needs to go out or happily use a dog door. Still discovering the joys of puppyhood, General is learning how fun toys can be and what it means to have his very own cozy dog bed. General is incredibly loyal and bonds deeply with his humans. He does need some continued training, especially with leash manners and remembering not to jump up when he’s excited for attention—but he’s eager to learn and responds quickly to treats and positive reinforcement. If you’re looking for a gentle, sensitive soul who will reward you with unwavering love and loyalty, General is ready to be your best friend. 💙
Hank (FNA Toby)
Pit Bull Terrier/Shepherd
Adult – Male
Meet Hank (formerly Toby) 🐕🦴 This handsome guy is Hank! A fun-loving, energetic pup who’s ready to find his perfect match! Hank is around 2 and a 1/2 and has a big personality with an even bigger heart. He’s an active boy who thrives outdoors. He loves to run, chase squirrels and birds, and will happily play fetch all day if you let him. He knows all his basic commands like sit, stay, shake, lay down, and even roll over. Hank would do best with an active family or individual who has space for him to stretch his legs, ideally someone with a yard or land. While he’s got lots of playful energy. He’s being returned to the rescue through no fault of his own, his energy level just isn’t the right fit for a home with a small baby, as he can be a little too enthusiastic in his play. If you're looking for a loyal, smart, and fun companion who’s always up for a game of fetch or a hike, Hank just might be your perfect match!
Boomer
Shih Tzu
Adult – Male
Meet Boomer 🐾 Shih Tzu | Born October 30, 2018 | 17 lbs Boomer is a sweet boy who has already been through so much. After his beloved owner passed away, his future was uncertain—his family was even considering euthanasia if placement couldn’t be found. Thankfully, with the help of our partner vet and a foster hero, Boomer was given a second chance at life. 💕 This little guy has clearly been well loved and cared for. He is house trained, crate trained, and rides wonderfully in the car—his favorite spot is perched on the center console where he can watch the world go by. Boomer gets along well with other dogs and cats, but he would do best in a quieter household that matches his gentle nature. Since he came from the home of an elderly individual, we know he’ll make a devoted and loyal companion. If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing pup to share your life with, Boomer may just be the perfect fit. He’s ready to start his next chapter—with a family who will cherish him forever. 🐶❤️

Henry is crate trained, working on his house training, and already uses the doggie door like a pro. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. Although great with dogs, he can be a little too playful with cats. He doesn’t quite understand that they don’t like to wrestle the way dogs do.
