She is a lover and will ask for a belly rub before she will eat. Even when she was starving! She does great on and off leash, and loves to be around other dogs. While taking shelter under the church building Martha had a litter of 5 adorable puppies. Even when she was caring for her young puppies she was so sweet to everyone who came to care for her and her puppies. There is a sense of gratitude from this beautiful soul. The puppies have been placed with a rescue and are currently being fostered. 2 of her puppies have even found forever homes! It hasn’t been so easy for momma Martha though. After gaining weight back and recovering from being a nursing mom she has recently been spayed, and is up to date on all shots including rabies. She is estimated to be close to 2 years old. Martha and her sister Mary are being fostered on a farm locally but have not had anyone interested in giving them a permanent home. They’re learning all about farm life but would love to be somebody’s special one on a farm or in the city! Our area has been inundated with dumped dogs. We would love for these girls to have a chance to live somewhere where their lives are valued and resources are more available.

Key is a stunning little girl. She is very sweet and enjoys play time. Wants to cuddle up and get all the love she can after a fun filled day. She is picking up on things quickly. Great with other dogs. Interested in cats but has shown no aggression. Everything is still very new as the pups are just now experiencing most things. She is one of 3 puppies found at Keystone Lake. Winston

Special Needs: Epileptic I AM ON DAILY MEDS Winston, and his brother, Wally, were originally in a box by the road marked “free” ; the owners of the momma dog agreed to hand them over to the rescue. Wally has been adopted, but Winston has been in our program for months with no interest. Winston began having seizures a couple months after he was in his foster home. Our vet partners have run an array of tests, but they can not determine the cause of the seizures. Winston maintains very well on his daily medication, and he has minimal break through seizures. His meds are fairly inexpensive. Winston is still a good boy who enjoys playing with other dogs, travels well, and is house trained! He deserves his forever family! Please consider giving this sweet boy a chance!

Pancetta "Pan"

Pan is a sweet, sensitive boy with a big heart who’s still learning to trust humans after being abandoned by his previous owners. Life hasn’t always been easy for him, but he’s found solace and joy in the company of other animals. Lake is the charmer out of the Keystone lake litter! He is really sweet and loving but also very playful and outgoing. We Love the speckles on his paws. He is Good with the other dogs, Same with the cats. These puppies are quick learners and eager to please. Stone is such a handsome boy he’s very happy & energetic! He loves to play. He loves belly scratches and loves his siblings. He gets so excited to see his foster he just bounces around. His foster mom is working on channeling his excitement! He’s a lot of fun. Good with the other dogs. Same with the cats. He is also the biggest pup from the litter found at Keystone lake. Tractor was found at a local Tractor Supply and never claimed. She is a sweet dog who sometimes takes a bit to warm up to new people. She is house-trained with a doggie door, dog friendly to all sizes, and would do best with older children. Tractor is an impressive dog who would benefit from a breed savvy owner.

Mike is the ultimate good boy — he’s crazy about kids, loves hanging out with other dogs, and doesn’t give cats a second thought (he’s way too chill for drama). The kind neighbor did her best to provide food and a pen for the pups but they desperately needed to be placed in the safety of a foster home. Thankfully momma is extremely sweet and social and she was able to be placed in another rescue once puppies were weaned. Puppies have been handled since birth and are very social, chunky babies!

She loves playing outside, other dogs, and being loved on by her fosters. Emmy is doing well on crate training, basic obedience, and house manners. She is a spunky little puppy who would love to find a home of her own. Could she be right for you?

Meet Edgar. He is one of four puppies who had been living as strays their whole life at a local college campus. Luckily, with the help of multiple dedicated people, all four pups and their mom have been trapped. Edgar gets really nervous meeting new people, and is still learning what love is. He will need an adopter who is patient, and willing to work with him. Edgar ADORES other dogs, and would definitely benefit from a home with another dog who is more confident than he is. Sure he has his quirks, but we all do! Maybe he is meant for you! 💕

Anna was seemingly dumped in a rural area and never claimed. She was very sweet with the other dogs and kids in the area but unfortunately chased chickens! Anna was severely underweight and overloaded with internal and external parasites when we got her, she's currently gaining weight and getting some TLC! She is a little sweetheart that is eager to find her forever family!

Nessa

Nessa has an “old soul” vibe. You know, willing to go with the flow. Chill most of the time unless you are excited about something, then she’ll join in. She gets along with dogs and cats but prefers to be near her human. On the occasion she is pet by tiny humans, she is ok with it. Great on leash, rides calmly loose or crated in the car. Sleeps loose or crated at night. When off lead she sticks around but is curious and will check things out. Recall can use improvement. A bit of an introvert, she is not immediately fond of hyper active, overly social dogs who don’t respect healthy boundaries and personal space. In other words, Nessa sends “back off bud til I know you better” signals. But with proper introduction and some time gets along with dogs of all sizes. She’s a lover, not a fighter. But don’t ask her to share her bowl of food, it ain’t happening. At least not yet. She is still trying to bounce back from raising 9 healthy pups who had her sucked down to SKINNY! Oh, and did I mention her eyes? Nessa, she’s got some beautiful baby blues!!

Houdini

here’s a bio! i can totally change anything if needed, or if it’s too long just let me know lol! Houdini is a spayed, roughly 5 year old husky. Despite her name, she does not jump fences! She was found as a stray on the outside of her finders fence around 2 months ago, and has been hanging out in boarding since then. She does great in her kennel, and is learning how to walk on a leash and a few basic commands. She hasn’t had a lot of time in a home setting, but she is potty trained and loves to cuddle! Miss Houdini has never met a stranger, and she loves to sing! She has been great with all the other dogs she has met so far, but needs a home without cats.

🌟 Meet Rafiki! 🌟 This 5-year-old Yorkie mix is stealing hearts with his wild style — from his bald nose and tail to his adorably crooked underbite and crazy teeth, Rafiki totally lives up to his name. He might just be part baboon... and 100% original. 🐒💕 Rafiki is settling in well to his foster home and he almost fully housebroken as long as you pay attention to his clues. He is crate trained. He loves to sleep in bed or is also content sleeping on a dog bed. He was very shy and slow to warm up at first. But after about a week, he really started to come around. He's a very mild mannered and easy dog who awesome with other dogs, cats, and even kids! He’s looking for a patient, low-pressure home where he can settle in at his own pace. If you love quirky, one-of-a-kind dogs with a little bit of mystery, Rafiki might be your guy! 🐾

Otis was dumped on a country road and was surviving on someone’s chickens. Thankfully, the owner of the chickens knew that did not make Otis a bad dog, just another dog failed by humans in Oklahoma. Otis is well socialized and has done fantastic with other dogs, kids and large livestock. He also rides great is a car!
