Winston
Hound
Adult – Male
Special Needs: Epileptic I AM ON DAILY MEDS Winston, and his brother, Wally, were originally in a box by the road marked “free” ; the owners of the momma dog agreed to hand them over to the rescue. Wally has been adopted, but Winston has been in our program for months with no interest. Winston began having seizures a couple months after he was in his foster home. Our vet partners have run an array of tests, but they can not determine the cause of the seizures. Winston maintains very well on his daily medication, and he has minimal break through seizures. His meds are fairly inexpensive. Winston is still a good boy who enjoys playing with other dogs, travels well, and is house trained! He deserves his forever family! Please consider giving this sweet boy a chance!
Abbie
Pit Bull Terrier
Young Adult – Female
Abbie came to us from a busy highway in Tulsa. She was nearly struck several times by a vehicle but luckily made it out alive and rode to her foster home by the good Samaritan that saved her. Abbie is un-sure of other dogs but ADORES people! Abbie is housebroken, crate trained and is a medium energy level.
Robert
Terrier/Black Mouth Cur
Young Adult – Male
Robert came in with his litter from a property where mama was living off table scraps, she was left behind by a previous tenant. Mama did a great job though and all of her babies are sweet and well behaved. Robert has yet to destroy anything other than dog toys, is doing great with potty training, sleeps in a pen without accidents all night quietly and although he is a playful puppy, listens to commands and just wants to be around the peoples. He is used to dogs of all shapes and sizes and does not seem too interested in chickens.
Otis
Hound/Coonhound
Adult – Male
Otis was dumped on a country road and was surviving on someone’s chickens. Thankfully, the owner of the chickens knew that did not make Otis a bad dog, just another dog failed by humans in Oklahoma. Otis is well socialized and has done fantastic with other dogs, kids and large livestock. He also rides great is a car! Otis needs a secure fence and a heavy duty crate.

Calvin
Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier
Young Adult – Male
Calvin is a 1–2 year old Cattle Dog mix with a heart as big as his goofy smile. When he was first rescued off the streets of rural NE Oklahoma, he was skinny, scarred, and carrying the weight of a rough start in life. But thanks to the love and care of his foster, Calvin has blossomed into a handsome, happy pup who’s now ready to find his forever family. This lovable boy is spunky, friendly, and full of personality. He gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats, making him a great fit for a multi-pet household. Calvin is also working hard on his house manners—he’s a quick learner who just wants to please. Despite his rocky beginning, Calvin’s resilience shines through. He’s a goofy, affectionate companion who’s ready to trade his past life of survival for one filled with love, playtime, and plenty of pampering. Hank (FNA Toby)
Anatolian Shepherd/Shepherd
Adult – Male
Meet Hank (formerly Toby) 🐕🦴 This handsome guy is Hank! A fun-loving, energetic pup who’s ready to find his perfect match! Hank is around 2 and a 1/2 and has a big personality with an even bigger heart. He’s an active boy who thrives outdoors. He loves to run, chase squirrels and birds, and will happily play fetch all day if you let him. He knows all his basic commands like sit, stay, shake, lay down, and even roll over. Hank would do best with an active family or individual who has space for him to stretch his legs, ideally someone with a yard or land. While he’s got lots of playful energy. He’s being returned to the rescue through no fault of his own, his energy level just isn’t the right fit for a home with a small baby, as he can be a little too enthusiastic in his play. If you're looking for a loyal, smart, and fun companion who’s always up for a game of fetch or a hike, Hank just might be your perfect match!

She loves walks, all the attention, and riding in the car. She loves to spend the day where ever you are no matter what you’re doing. She will become your shadow! She is crate trained and house broke. She loves kids! She’s been around horses and feels indifferent about them. Not really concerned about them and lets them be. She doesn’t adore baths but will put up with them for you and even put herself in the tub and stay very still for you. She has no known allergies. She’s been around barn cats some but I wouldn’t recommend her being with an indoor cat. She’s friendly with other dogs when out on walks, but needs to be the only dog in the home. She doesn’t like to share attention. She’s very well behaved unless she’s excited then she can get a bit bouncy. Follows commands well. She will sit, stay, lay down, and wait. She’ll keep your feet warm all night long if you allow her in the bed with you. She is an amazing girl.

Bella
Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Mel
Chihuahua/Dachshund
Young Adult – Female
Mel is a 1.5-year-old Chihuahua mix with a big personality packed into a petite 6-pound body. Don’t let her size fool you—Mel likes to be in charge and carries herself like the boss she believes she is. She came to us from the OKC Animal Shelter alongside four other Chihuahuas, where the group earned the nickname “The Spice Girls.” Mel was labeled Scary Spice due to her spicy reputation, but once we got to know her, it became clear she’s much more of a “scaredy spice.” Underneath that initial sass is a sensitive little dog who’s learning that the world isn’t so scary after all. Mel is bouncy, playful, and full of energy, especially once she feels safe. She does need a bit of time to warm up to new people and situations, and being picked up is still a work in progress—she currently prefers it only when absolutely necessary. She’s house-trained with a dog door and crate trained. Mel as become a bit of an escape artist. She will dig under an unsecure fence and has learned to open certain crates. This matched with her hand-shyness makes her a more difficult adoption. She will need someone with experience and patience to help her learn.
Marcy
Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier
Adult – Female
Marcy is a cuddle bug with a touch of wild child. She'll greet you at the door like she hasn't seen you in days even if you've only been gone ten minutes. Once she's gotten enough attention, she'll join you on the couch for cuddles and nap time. She absolutely loves stuffed toys and will entertain herself for hours. It's entertaining watching her throw her toys in the air and try to catch them. She does little tippy taps when she's excited. She may be little, but her heart is so big! Not much scares her and she's a breeze on a leash. She knows sit, lay down, and wait commands. She'll even love tagging along on a car ride to PetSmart or Tractor Supply with you. She loves road trips and going to the lake to swim! She loves giving kisses and lying in your lap for as long as you'll have her. She gets along with dogs and visitors in her home as well. She loves to get belly rubs from strangers and won't hesitate to give them kisses as well. She's also good with young kids. She's an absolute sweetheart with them! She's so gentle and understanding when approaching. Marcy's only negative is that she does not get along with cats, which is why she is needing rehomed. If you are a cat free home looking for a new best friend, Marcy is your girl!
