Chop has just arrived at Okie Pet Rescue after spending several tough months at a local municipal shelter. At 3 years old, this handsome Doberman/Rottweiler mix is finally getting the chance to stretch his legs, feel the grass under his paws, and experience the comfort of a loving foster home. We’re still getting to know Chop as he decompresses and starts to settle in, but one thing is already clear: this boy is soaking up his new freedom and discovering the joy of just being a dog again. He’s curious, observant, and slowly warming up to the good life he’s been waiting for. Chop is smart, and has the potential to be a deeply loyal companion. As he continues to adjust, we’ll be learning more about his personality, preferences, and the kind of forever home where he’ll truly thrive.
