Saffron was originally part of a TNR program—trapped, spayed, and expected to return to life outdoors. But she had other plans. With time, patience, and a safe space, this beautiful calico showed us that she loves to be loved. Once she trusts you, she leans into affection and soaks it all in like she’s been waiting her whole life for it. True to her calico roots, Saffron has a little attitude and a lot of personality. She would likely do best in a calm home without dogs, and while we’re unsure how she’d do with other cats, she’s been thriving as the center of attention. Saffron is proof that sometimes the cats we think are “too feral” are just waiting for someone to see them.
