Our adoption team works closely with each adopter to ensure a successful and lasting match.

Here are a few things to know before applying

– We will confirm all current pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations and preventions.

– We will ask general questions about your lifestyle to be sure the pet you’re applying for is the right fit for your family.

– You must have an approved application before a private meet and greet with the pet will be arranged.

Adoption Process

1. Browse Available Pets – View our adoptable dogs and cats online or meet some of our available pets at one of our adoption events.
2. Submit an Application – Complete our adoption application form.
3. Application Review – Our volunteers review applications and may contact you for additional information.
4. Meet & Greet – Approved applicants schedule a private meet-and-greet, often at The Shop in Owasso or at a convenient off-site location.
5. Adoption Finalization – Once approved, adoption paperwork is completed and your new family member goes home!

Adoption Fees

Adoption fees help cover veterinary care, food, supplies, and ongoing rescue efforts.

Adoption fees vary and are listed on each adoptable animal profile. The fees are based on the cost and veterinary care for the animal’s type, age, and breed, with some adjustments made based on demand.
